With more than 35 years of professional motorsports experience, Steve brings professional auto racing levels of precision and excellence to Rocky Mountain Car Care. His career includes championship winning results in IndyCar, Formula 1, NASCAR, and Sports Car racing, working with legendary drivers such as Dan Wheldon, Bobby Rahal, Michael Andretti, and Al Unser Jr. Steve personally ensures every customer receives exceptional service and performance because he believes that professional auto racing-level care shouldn’t be limited to the race track.
Brandon Newey
Service Advisor and Partner
Brandon is part of our Service Advisor team and works with our technicians in managing the daily shop activities. Brandon is also our resident race car driver for our Late Model series racing program at Colorado National Speedway. Brandon started racing when he was 11 years old in national kart racing events and then polished his skills while moving up through the open wheel racing ladder series including race seasons in Formula 1600, Formula 2000, and the Pro-Mazda series. In addition to auto racing, Brandon enjoys skiing in the winter and golfing in the summer.
Ryan Newey
Service Advisor and Partner
Ryan developed his competitive driving and mechanical skills through years of competitive kart racing and most recently through racing in the Late Model class at Colorado National Speedway. As a member of our Service Advisor team, Ryan enjoys working directly with customers and helping them make informed decisions about their vehicles. Outside of work, he takes full advantage of Colorado living and enjoys snowboarding, hiking, golfing, and racing at Colorado Speedway.
Chris Caplinger
Service Advisor
Chris is an integral part of our Customer Service team and enjoys developing lasting customer relationships. Chris has over twenty years of experience in the automotive service sector. Chris and his wife, Sam, have two sons and enjoy family time together while camping and off roading in the Colorado wilderness.
Mike Liebendorfer
Service Advisor
Mike has over twenty years of experience in the automotive service business and works hard to provide customers with the best value in maintaining optimal vehicle performance. Mike and his wife Holly enjoy family time at all if Colorado’s professional sporting events with many summer weekends at Colorado National Speedway. Mike is a talented race car crew chief and a spotter for a variety of auto racing events.
Dave Olson
Senior Technician
Dave leads operations on the shop floor and he is one of the best automotive technicians in Colorado! Dave and his wife Beth enjoy hanging out with their children and grand kids. They also enjoy camping and boating in the summer months.
